How do I install Adobe Digital Editions 4.0 on Mac OS 10.6 or later?

Go to http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-editions/download.html and select Download Macintosh.

Wait for the download to complete. You can monitor the status of the download in your downloads window depending upon your preferred web browser.

Once the download is complete, double-click the ADE_4.0_Installer.dmg to mount the install files. For Safari users, you can locate the download in your Downloads folder.

Once this disk image is mounted, double-click Digital Editions 4.0 Installer.

Once the installer launches, click Continue to proceed with the installation.

Review the Software licensing agreement. When you are ready to proceed, click Continue.

Click Agree to confirm your agreement to the Software Licensing Agreement.

Enter your Administrator user name and password when prompted.
